The Batman 2022 Joker: Movie Review & Full Trailer Online Free Streaming : In a bleak early voiceover in The Batman, Bruce Wayne reminds us, “Fear is a tool.” He mentions how Batman’s presence may be used to scare adversaries in this scene, but it’s probable that screenwriter and director Matt Reeves took it literally when returning the legendary superhero to the screen. It’s the most terrifying Batman film yet. The message is apparent from the start: this isn’t a family superhero film; it’s a gloomy, terrifying psychological thriller with a hefty dosage of classic crime, and believe it or not, Reeves pulls it off flawlessly, resulting in a hypnotic dark masterpiece.
The Batman movie is self-contained, although it is replete with cinematic allusions. Zodiac, Se7en, Chinatown, and Saw are some of the movies that sprang to mind while viewing this movie. But do you know what I don’t recall much about myself? Most of the earlier Batman films were realistic. True, the film’s brutal realism harkens back to Christopher Nolan’s trilogy, but this is a bold new cinematic take on the Dark Knight.
If I had to compare it to another film, I’d say it’s comparable in tone to the 2019 Joker film. The difference is that Joaquin Phoenix’s narrative about a poor guy forgotten by society didn’t require the moniker of a well-known DC villain. The Batman film, on the other hand, continues to tell the Batman narrative with sincerity. It takes a variety of comic book storylines and remixes them in a way that is both daring and appreciative of the original material, while also giving something completely different from what we’ve seen on the big screen thus far.

n’t need to watch them slaughtered again. Instead, it places us at the core of Batman’s collaboration with Detective Gordon, a hero-warrior. It takes place late enough in Wayne’s tale that we don’t have to watch situations we’ve previously seen, but early enough that he still has potential to grow before becoming the perfect superhero. We don’t witness the beginning, but we do get to see a lot of character development and some smart explanations and additions to the histories of various Gotham families.
The Batman 2022 (film) :
As a result, Robert Pattinson portrays a more vulnerable orphan billionaire than we’ve seen before. With such a well-known part, it would have been easy for Pattinson to replicate (though unintentionally) many of the performers who came before him, but he gives his character his own individuality. It does away with the earlier versions’ illusion of a fun and lovely man. Instead, we get a melancholy and strange character who feels helpless while yet being compelled by a tragedy in a way that is fascinating to witness. Bruce is a damaged man who can’t hide his emotions even behind a mask. And, both within and outside of Batman’s costume, Pattinson gives a heartbreaking performance.
But, believe it or not, Pattinson’s performance in The Batman isn’t even the greatest. In reality, Zoe Kravitz and Paul Dano, who play Selena Kyle (Cat Woman) and The Riddler, respectively, are the two genuine standouts. Kravitz’s appointment for the part felt ideal from the start, but her thorough portrayal of the character managed to exceed my already lofty expectations. She has all the wit and witticisms you’d expect, but, like Bruce Wayne, she also conveys vulnerability while persuading us of her insatiable want for vengeance. “I want retribution!” Pattinson could be shouting. Karvitz, on the other hand, is simmering with vengeance.
It’s tough to look away from Pattinson and Dano whenever they meet.
The Batman movie review & film summary (2022):
Riddler, in Dano’s opinion, is the most realistic Batman adversary since Heath Ledger’s Joker. Reeves gives a current and lethal flare to a character who takes considerable inspiration from the real-life zodiac assassin, a far cry from Jim Carrey’s more renowned ex-Ridler. Dano enters the part of this insane and brilliant killer with frightening reality. With only one eye movement in one of the sequences, Dano managed to give me chills. The finest adversaries for Batman are those that test at least two of his three faculties: mind, morals, and body, and Riddler puts the first two to the test. It’s tough to look away from Pattinson and Dano whenever they meet.
The Penguin and Jim Jordan are played by Colin Farrell and Jeffrey Wright, respectively. As a gangster, Pharrell seems utterly unrecognisable (I wouldn’t have recognised him if I hadn’t previously known who he was), and he appears to be having a wonderful time under all that make-up. While Wright relishes the role of a Pattinson-friendly officer, he also provides some of the film’s most classic investigative moments. The character Alfred Pennyworth, played by Andy Serkis, has a distinct connection with Pattinson: a patriarchal relationship with Wayne origins that lends emotional weight when needed.
If all of this seems like too much for one film, keep in mind that The Batman is three hours long, so he has plenty of time! Except for a few points in the middle when I wasn’t particularly pulled to the political riddle at its heart, it’s worth the lengthy time trying your bladder. When the plot (and action) picks up again, it’s as if one of Batman’s hooks entered my skin and drew me in so quickly that I didn’t have time to protest.
